Prov 8 18-19
18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.
19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.
This just reminded me that i need to go for the durable riches in life more than gold!!!

A good reminder indeed.
Your post reminded me of a verse with the idea of the more desireable things to go after....in speaking of God's ways and His laws, the Psalmist says..."More to be desired are they than gold, yeah than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb." Ps. 19:10....His word and His ways are precious!

That's good. I think we all need a reminder sometimes. I know it seems so easy to hold on to the things that really mean nothing to us and let slip through our fingers the lives of those who really are most dear to our hearts.
